The SPs are something like 1:384 packs. About one in 15-20 cases for any given player. They don't go for all that much though, perhaps $20-25. I think it is due to Topps kinda flooding Chrome with parallels this year... Base, Refractor, Xfractor, Purple, Camo, Pink, Black, Prism, Blue, Sepia, Gold, Red, Super. Also rookie autographs in a number of these colors. Then there are parallels and auto parallels in the insert sets. Lots of stuff to throw money at.

20-25 bucks is a lot of money for a base card, even if it is a short print or not.

The Aaron Rodgers from last year consistently sold in that range, and he wasn't even a rookie. Same for AP.
