What are your goals in collecting for the upcoming year?
Mine is to complete my 1951 Bowman Baseball set, my 1951 Bowman Football set and my 1951 Topps Football set.

I would like to get to the halfway points on my '34 Goudey and '49 Bowman sets. Possibly work a little on the '58 and '72 Topps sets but those are on the back burner from the other two.

I need about 12 cards for various sets im putting together....my goal is to find 2 of them. To put that into perspective, i didnt add a card to those sets in over 2 years.

I forgot to add that I hope to complete the T202 New York Americans set. I need five more, with all of those being Hal Chase cards.

Complete my 2000 GOTG autos (Heinrich and 3 Mem Moments left).

Sell off prospects when the time is RIGHT.

And stop impulse buying cases of anything. Seriously.

Hoping to sell 99% of my collection and hopefully pick one 1-2 more cards from the 2000 APOH 3000 Club Auto set which I've decided to attempt as a long term project.

My goals are not set high because the prospects of having funds for the hobby are not very good for 2013. I do want to complete each of my 2001 Topps Heritage master sets (all four sports) and add to my Dormand postcard collection and the 1972 Topps baseball set. Anything else will just be icing on the cake.

My goal is to not set any goals. Over the last few years my collecting focus has been all over the place. I would start a collection and set a goal of "x" amount of cards by a certain date. It started to feel more like a deadline, which in turn made collecting feel more like a job. For 2013, I plan on adding cards to each of my collections (with zero expectations of reaching any milestones,) and enjoying what I do have more.

A pretty humble goal based on some of you guys. Would like to finish off my Topps baseball set run from '78 to present. Still have some gaps in there for 1980 and a handful of mid 90s sets. Once we get that finished off, we'll start working backwards towards 1960.
