Now this contract I could live with. He has been the pillar of consistency, so I'm glad they locked him in for the long haul. But as retiring as a Tiger, just may not hold true. Because as years pass, sometimes teams will dump a player off, if there team is bad and needs to get some farm/team help.
Not saying this will happen, but I would hope he will stay the length of the contract.
