Kyle Parker, Nolan Arenado, and Corey Dickerson all get accolades this week. No mention of Eddie Butler this week but he's still doing fine. From what I've seen so far the Rockies 1-9 is the best offensive potential they have ever put on the field as a team in the history of the franchise. Add Arenado to that mix in place of Nelson and it gets downright scary to any pitcher facing it. When Todd Helton is your weakest link 1-8 you know you have a pretty potent lineup!
Surely you jest, the lineup from the mid 90's was one of the best i've ever seen in my days of watching baseball. Do you not remember these guys, I put their best years 1995-1997 in parathensis.....Dante Bichette (.340-40HR, 128RBI), Vinny Castilla(.319-46HR,144RBI), Ellis Burks (.290,32HR, 82RBI), Larry Walker (.366-49HR,133RBI,33SB) Eric Young (.324-8HR,74RBI, 53SB), Andres Galaraga (.290-47HR,150RBI)
Burch Smith! Guy came out of nowhere, big time fastball.
His contender autos dried up quickly. I didn't get a chance to grab one. Wonder if he'll have a base card in Bowman?
Good thing I sold 16 Sano's last month...
