Awesome stuff man!

You may already know this, but be careful taking them out of the Screwdowns. IF they're not in a recessed area, the older ones can tend to stick to the top when you separate them. But the Mattingly should be just fine...Enjoy!

Those were definately collected in the 90's and maybe were from a card store that closed during the collapse in the 2000's

....i have a question about garage sales.....do you people who find cards at garage sales actually,....."find" cards as part of the sale, or do you ask the salesperson if they have cards?

I have found amazing cards at garage sales. They always have them out for display.

So you know, those nolan cards are unlicensed "broder" type cards.

Unless you like them, they have no real value.

Come on, man. Really?

Hold on, didn't mean it like THAT.

Just wanted to let the op know (if he doesn't already) not to be taken for a ride by a seller claiming those are rare & money.

For all the people who have tried to sell me these (& similar) broder cards in the past, they thought they had $ value because they look flashy.

Ok. I just didn't want to leave it hanging there for the OP to see it as a negative. I think the fact that his lady brought him cards is a win. LOL

Exactly my thought as well. If your significant other buys you cards, they are a keeper!

Can't wait to see what you get.

What's the deal with the Ryan cards though? Never seen those before.

Idk, look unique to me as well

In this case, the seller actually noticed a Yankees sticker on my wife's SUV and that sparked the conversation

I kinda figured that, but it's history in my opinion.
