People get those signed all the time and then have them stitched onto a generic jersey of said team. I've seen plenty of people getting the Astros and Texans players to sign jersey numbers like that. Also seen people doing it for basketball.

They also look good if you frame them with a small picture and matting.

I've always thought that Sheffield has a cool and strange signature.
It looks like he signs his name backwards, from right to left, like it's in a mirror.

I wonder if Sheffield will make the Hall of Fame someday, with the steroid allegations.
He certainly has the numbers:
.292 avg., 509 home runs, 2,700 hits, 1,700 rbi.

He should be in the HOF just for having a rookie card with braces.

I got mine in today.

Don't know what I plan to do with them. I'm thinking trying to find some pinstripe jersey like material, have someone sow these on, then frame it. I don't want an entire jersey.

Anyways, one of the best $10 I've spent in the hobby.`
