Lou Gehrig's speech
Kirk Gibson's home run
Dave Henderson's home run off Donnie Moore
Bill Buckner's error
Hubbell striking out 5 in a row in the all-star game
Pedro doing the same
Rickey Henderson breaking Lou Brock's record
Cal Ripken breaking Lou Gehrig's record
Barry Bonds passing Hank Aaron

Jeez I can't believe how many I initially forgot...gotta love Kirby's HR, Reggie's 3 HR & Thompson's HR. Although it pains me to say this I can see how some might include game 7 2001 World Series and Game 5 1995 ALDS.

Also just remembered Piazza's Home Run after 9/11...as someone who lives about three blocks away from Ground Zero, it was really uplifting (I would say Bush's first pitch but Piazza's home run packs more of a punch for me).

Newhannibal,

looks like I'm still the only one who actually offered a top 10 list. I'm very surprised by some of the opinions of the others.

I think a top 10 list needs to include moments that build the heritage of a team, change the game for the better, and moments that moved or greatly effected all baseball fans and weren't just a great moment for a team or a statistical/Great play for a player.

One thing is for sure, baseball is an incredible game.
