I know he is a love him or hate him guy, but that does not usually prevent someone from "super" collecting someone.

If there are any here, does anyone have a link to the bucket/pics?

Just curious, would love to see some of his high end stuff.

Not "high end" but the nicest I have of him:

Maybe it is the scanner, or the 2000 hits talking, but DANG. That card looks great!

I'm certainly not a super collector but I've got a small Ortiz collection that I add to whenever I can. Here are a few of my favorites...

People don't really seem to collect him. He is one of the best players of his generation and I don't understand it. Love him but hate when my team faces him.

Nicest I have:

Great stuff. I wonder why no one focuses on him. I am in the same boat...I have a few nice ones (packed away due to my move), but I got them from team breaks mostly (not an effort to collect him).

Maybe because not a lot of people collect PED users?

Ah, the troll showed up, just like I knew he would.
Can't have a thread about a Red Sox player without vwnut13 adding to it in his own special way.
Too bad none of your beloved Yankees are convicted PED users......

Those are some REALLY nice cards, Brad! Love the ASG 2008 sleeve patches! I'm sure you are hunting the last one!

Normally I'd say his post is exactly the kind of thing Chris was talking about last week in regards to detailing threads, but the question was posed or surprise expressed, at least twice, why there aren't more collectors. Aside from the "love him or hate him" perception that was alluded to, PEDs are likely the correct answer (or biggest contributing factor). If the answer to a question is known but the intent is not to discuss the answer, don't ask the question IMO
