Love it! I am surprised this doesn't happen a bit more, since certain things become so routine that you don't even think about the ball.

I had to watch it a few times before I saw the ball actually go into the glove for the tag. The first 5-or-so times I watched it, I could swear Helton tagged Carpenter with just his glove. Not until I watched Helton's throwing hand did I see evidence of the ball exchange.

Looks like Carpenter prob jammed some pebbles into the palm of his hand diving back, which is why he got distracted looking at his hand. Helton seemed to notice that and took immediate action. Quick thinking move!
