I bought a lot of 1952 Topps today in fairly nice condition. Also got some 53's, 55 Topps and Bowman, only a few in rough condition. Best vintage lot I've come across in quite awhile.
I wish there was some high numbers... Especially that Mantle guy! Unfortunately, these are all from the first two series.
Here's another quick shot from something else you don't see every day, these were included in the purchase. Not real big value but this is the first time I had ever seen these.
More pics of the rest of the vintage stuff I got today. Lots of 55 Bowman. Unfortunately, the 1953 Bowman Color Stan Musial has vertical creases in the card or that would have been the crown jewel of the pickups.
In third grade a girl gave me her fathers cards and they were mostly 1955 Bowman's. I guess I couldn't wait to look at them so I had my desk open and sorting through the cards during class and my teacher took them away from me. I never saw those cards again and I have always kicked myself for that so anytime I see '55 Bowman television cards I get misty eyed and tell myself I need to work on that set. Nice pick up. If you are moving the '55 Bowmans let me know as I might have interest.
