Nice little pickup alright...the guy hit .204 last year with an on-base percentage of .238 and a slugging percentage of .298 - maybe he'll get a chance to be the designated benchwarmer / cheerleader / morale booster.

I read somewhere that he was switching to a lighter bat in hopes of having more success at the plate. I really hope that he improves this season.
