The Montreal Canadiens are in serious negotiations with the agent for the young russian superstar Sergei Puckisan. Agent Gary Coleman,who represents Puckisan, says his client is close to signing and hopes to be playing in time for the playoffs.
Puckisan is only 17 but is being called the best Russian Hockey player ever to represent his country. Most NHL teams were leary of his size but he impressed scouts so much with his shot and skating skills that Montreal is taking a chance.
Vladislav Ttretiak says that if Puckisan can adapt to the NHL game and doesn't get crushed or stepped on that he could go down as 1 of the best to ever play in the NHL.
