That's a pretty solid deal for the Braves as long as he stays in their rotation at all.

The Braves clearly got the best of that deal as his annual salary would be less than a 4th or 5th starter and for 6 years.....unbelievable deal!

Well, it'll be close. You have to remember they're buying out 5-6 years of arbitration, NOT free agent pricing. But still a wise deal and likely worth it considering salary escalation.
