In December 2009 I did my usual Christmas shopping in my mall and decided to stop in FYI to check out some of their dvd's.
I came upon a display featuring a brand-new released 2009 World Series DVD celebrating the yanks victory. Obviously, I picked up a copy and headed to the cashier.
When I got to the cashier she said " I'll be right back with your Mariano autograph" to which I replied jokingly "oh great does it also come with a babe ruth?"
She handed me a dvd cover signed by mariano!!!!!
Beyond shocked, I asked her about it and she explained that he was there recently promoting it.
Immediately, I asked her how many were left and she told me one. Needless to say I bought the last copy.
I sold one of them and kept the other.
