Im gonna be heading to Tahoe for a wedding on thursday, and aside from visiting the Hard Rock Cafe (cuz we have a collection of glasses and pins from each one we've been to), are there any shops worth visiting in the area?

Not sure about that, but WEAR SUNSCREEN No letter what!

I spent a weekend walking the golf course with Charles Barkley and it was overcast.. Thought nothing of it till I was baked and burnt to a dangerous level..

Cool. That's where the 4 big casinos (Harrah Harvey's montbleu horizon) are located as well as heavenly ski resort. Its called state line on the nevada side and s lake tahoe on the California side. Same town. Lots to do. Fun place! Lemme know if you have any questions.

If you have a night free for dinner go to the Chart House. You will thank me!!!

Did you watch the way he throws money at the tables??? It's crazy. I used to go to the casinos the week of the golf tourney. It was fun to watch.

Didnt go to the Chart House, but went to the Hard Rock. We stayed at Harveys, where the Hard Rock is located. The wife surprised me with that one. So we knocked off Hard Rock number 8, and got a pin and glasses to add to the collection.

Couldnt really go anywhere else, had plans with rehearsal dinner and the actual reception, so any other restaurants werent high on the list. Mainly looked for a card shop (there was a memorabilia shop, but the same junk you find at the mall), and hit up thrift shops. Very different than the ones in my area. Didnt make any hits like I do here at home. But We had fun at the reception, and the kids and I had a blast at the arcade multiple times, and my oldest daughter Alie joined me at the Hard Rock and she got her own shirt, and bracelets, and charms for the bracelet, and a necklace... Yeah, she bled my wallet dry. But totally worth it.
