The city wants to turn the stadium into parking and a LAZY RIVER (that would end up being a trash depot).
I made a post regarding the history of the stadium. If you missed it, there were major teams that played in this park or in the prior incarnate. (This one was built in the 1930s)

Just read the plan and although I'm clearly in favor of saving the park, if the zoo is involved then I think the odds are against us
