Not sure, but it's been a pleasure to watch him take the mound.....only 8 earned runs so far, looking like a steal of a FA Signing so far!3

Hudson is the man. Always classy. Even when ?Eric Young? Stepped on his ankle he was telling him it's all good and it's not his fault. I feel like a lot of players would just be pissed at the guy who did that to them even if it was accidental

"Fringe HOFer's" should not exist. The HOF should be for All-Time Greats ONLY.

There will always be fringe HOFers. Anyone floating around either side of the 75% mark is a fringe HOFer. If they only let in, say, the 90%ers like you seem to want, it would be a pretty boring HOF. I don't get why people care so much. Just acknowledge who you want to acknowledge as the best of the best and ignore the rest. If your HOF is only 90%ers, then so be it, that's what it is. There is really no sense in begrudging the 75% to 89%ers.

If he can somehow win another 50+, is it possible he can be a fringe HOFer?
Hudson has never had a losing season during his 16-year career. That's pretty incredible.
He also has one of the highest career winning percentages of the modern era.

It's amazing how similar his career stats are to Roy Halladay:

Hudson: 207-112, 3.43 era
Halladay: 203-105, 3.38 era

Of course, Halladay was much more dominant, has 2 Cy Young awards, was top five in Cy Young votes 7 times and his career was cut short by injury.

Even if Hudson gets another 50 wins, I'd put him in the Mike Mussina/Andy Pettitte/Jack Morris category of excellent pitcher, but not quite a Hall of Famer.

I believe Mussina will make it.
