There's a card for former RHP Jesse Floyd in both 2004 and 2005 Bowman Chrome. The 2004 Bowman Chrome has a lefty with the Rangers on it, and the 2005 card has him with the Giants. Looking at his baseball-reference.com page, he was never with the Rangers. The backs of the cards are of the same guy (Giants prospect).
He was signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Giants in 2003 and from the looks of his page, he stayed with the team until getting plucked from the system by the Twins during the AAA portion of the 2006 Rule-5 Draft.
Did he actually have ANYTHING to do with the Rangers (that would make Topps think he was a Rangers prospect), or did Topps just blow it with the wrong picture and do a do-over in the next year's issue?
Also, would you consider the 2004 card to be part of the Giants team set?
