The MLB HOT LIST will highlight which MLB players had the most impactful previous 7 days. It will be posted on Mondays using statistics spanning the previous Monday to Sunday. Feel free to bring up any player or players who weren't mentioned who you believe deserve recognition. In keeping with the Major League theme of the MLB HOT LIST, the post-2005 rookie cards stated are a player's best MLB licensed true RC, not his best parallel/insert, Minor League or Major League prospect card.

Is Johnny Cueto not eligible for your list?

He owns black ink in the following categories....ERA, complete games, shutouts, innings, batters faced, ERA+, WHIP, H/9.

He was definitely one of the best pitchers of the last 7 days. He was almost an honorable mention. It was a coin toss between him and Hudson for the last pitcher to make the list.

Hes been probably the second most dominant starter this year and wasn't on either list. Just didn't know if he was overlooked or that his outings have fell on a weird day.

This isn't a players of the year list. It's always militantly restrictive to the last 7 days of games, Mondays through Sundays. Cueto was the #1 hottest pitcher just two weeks ago.
