Darn, from your thread title, I thought you meant Gallo was promoted to the Rangers.
Texas just lost back-up first baseman Mitch Moreland to ankle surgery, and with Prince Fielder gone, the Rangers are down to Donnie Murphy at first base.
Gallo should be up to Texas soon if he has a hot start at AA Frisco.
