My husband got me this, 1888 Old Judge Art Whitney with Dog, for our anniversary. I'm not interested in vintage cards but fell in love with this one because it had a dog. My husband's interest lies with vintage (mainly old judge) cards.
(Hopefully the picture shows up, doing it from my phone)

Would make a neat topical collection ... ballplayers and their dogs. Besides 1993 MilkBone cards, anyone have any other cards picturing dogs?

Looooooosiana!
That is a cool card. I wonder if older cards really are more interesting or if it is an odd sense of nostalgia that draws me to them.

There's a bunch of old "dog themed" tobacco cards that can be had cheap. That one is just awesome though!

Cool Old Judge vintage card.

I thought Fred McGriff "Crime Dog" had an insert with a cartoon dog?
Any with Mad Dog Maddux?
I am remembering a card with Reds owner Marge Schotts dog and did they make a Nolan Ryan card with a dog?

Look in the post before yours. ;)
Lol, last night Coors Light Summer Brews have not worn off yet, lol. The card I am thinking of for Marge Schott showed her with the dog. I am thinking it may be a team card or and oddball set.

Thanks guys. I think the card is pretty awesome. I actually have some cards that somewhat fit what y'all have been talking about. When I am done being lazy and get bored watching Law and Order:SVU, I'll try to get a picture. Pretty neat and really old.

I believe the Hit Dog, Mo Vaughn, has one along those lines.

These are 1930s (1934?) dog cards from Australia.

These are from a completed book of cards from England in 1934 (date is on back)

I have many more if anyone wants to see more, but I figured I would stop at 4 pictures, ha. (Apparently with 1 attachment)

Isn't that Schottsie in the Benito Santiago card pictured above?

It is, but I thought I remember her on the card with the dog. It could have been a photo as well. I am a Yanks guy but I dabble with Reds stuff because of O'neill.
