86 Donruss Bo Jackson PSA 10 sell in the $25 range.

Same card once owned by Dimitri Young (labeled as such on flip) sold for $126

Would you pay more for a card which was proven to be in a celebs collection?

I doubt I would. I have seen the Dimitri Young collection on youtube and it is very impressive but not enough for me to pay higher prices because it was from his collection.

Off subject a tad, I have a friend that owned a car that was in Reggie Jackson's collection. That brought a higher premium because of all the documents involved. It was a Buick T-Type like the Grand National.

Keith Olbermann, Charlie Sheen: Yes. Dmitri Young: No. One thousand times No on a 5X premium. Probably not going to pay more than 2X premium for anyone other than if it was owned by the player on the card.

If a Musial card was in Stan's collection and it could be proven, then I would pay a premium, otherwise no, never.

If Aaron Boone, Rick Ankiel, Dan Haren or Yadier Molina personally offered to sell me a card of theirs from their own private collection, I would pay the markup.

I'm going to go back on my previous answer of "never". If I was getting a card of that person straight from them, then I would say yes.

Some time ago, I received an email from a guy who played minor league ball for the Sox, and who happened to originally be from my hometown, who stumbled across me mentioning him on here. He emailed me, we had a little back and forth, and he ended up digging out a card of his from the Bristol Sox, signed it, and sent it to me. It remains one of my favorite pieces in my collection.

In that case, it was a freebie from him, but thinking on that, I can say that I would definitely pay a premium to obtain a card of a player directly from that player.

Cool story

As to the OP, probably not, but I guess you never know

I wouldn't, unless it was directly from the player shown on there.

But I do know a guy who once owned a car that had once been owned by John Voyt!

Does "owned" mean "stored unprotected between the sweaty boobies of"
And by "Dmitri Young" do you mean "Kate Upton"?

If so, then yes.
