To be fair, he's no longer playing so they aren't getting any new photos, but yah, you'd think in today's day and age they could get hundreds of different photos per player with great ease.

It's just a coincidence. Topps isn't going to look at all of the hundreds or thousands of different photos used on every companies' cards over the past 20 years.

And it doesn't compare to when Topps and Fleer both paid the same photographer for the same picture of Rod Carew on their 1982 cards:

I could frankly care less if 200 cards use the same picture. As long as the picture is actually the right player, he could be banging an ump and I'd still collect them.

I agree - can't hold them to that level of accountability
But gota admit 2014 archives are pretty nice
