So these were in the tins right? I have a bunch of Belle unopened tins... I should crack them open and see if these puppies are in any of them lol

LOL, Actually your belle tins are the 97 version, but hey you could still pick up a 97 Griffey PM which commands around 650-700 now :)

I would. I have like 14 of the gold and silver tins from 98 and as nice as it would be to hit a BIG name PM the odds are stacked pretty bad against it. I have opened around 14 boxes of the stuff and only pulled 1. A Bagwell Platinum. Keep em sealed IMO

This is just crazy. I'm ready to give up on my 1997 set; just not ready to sell yet. These prices are making me like the cards less and less.

I'm pretty sure my friend has the entire set, including the Precious Metals. I'm in the process of helping him move his collection so I'll have to look into this having now seen what they go for!

He also has Pujols Bowman Chrome Auto as well as thousands of other ridiculous cards... more to come on that front haha

I am forunate enough at this point to have almost the entire 1998 preferred master set, just looking for 10 Great x samples and 10 Gold small tins. If he has any of these and is sellling hit me up ;)
