Robin Roberts has a 1962 topps card labeling him a Yankee yet he never played with them in the bigs (was released in ST)

What Yankee is pictured on the most expensive (Beckett value) regular issue 60s topps card?
Mantle? NOPE
Maris? NOPE
It's Pedro Gonzalez who happens to share the same rc as pete rose

Three quarters of Yankees starting infield from 61 to 65 had RC's in the 57 topps set (boyer, Richardson and kubek)

The first certified mantle auto card isn't from the early 90s. In 1982, ASA issued a mantle set which has 5000 cards autographed and numbered.

In 90, upper deck issued the first pack certified autos with Reggie Jackson.
This is widely known, but what isn't is the fact that cards with serial numbers ending in "double/triple zeros" were inscribed " Mr. October"

And lastly my favorite....

No player pictured in a Yankee uniform on his topps rookie card has been elected into the hall of fame. This won't change until Jeter gets in.
