Yeah no one ever truly retires. They all get the urge to come back.
Not sure how that makes anything "official".
Isn't there some type of clause that allows the WWE to automatically renew him?
I don't see him going to TNA. I doubt they could afford his contract. Maybe New Japan or something if he gets bored and wants to wrestle.
I don't get the hate some people have for him leaving. He evidently takes pride in what he does and didn't like how he was being used. Also WWE doesn't like the fact that they don't own a trademark or whatever on his name. I hope to see him return.
I think WWE is rather boring. I get tired of seeing the same matches over and over. How many straight weeks have the Usos wrestled the Wyatts. How many times have we seen Cena vs Orton. WWE needs some more talent on the roster in my opinion.

I never liked him that much. Just didnt get the hype. He's an above average wrestler and has mic skills, but is not a guy to carry a company. Bye bye.
Couldn't agree with you any more
+1
His entrance music was better than him
And his obviously orchestrated pipebomb shoot was his claim to fame
People loved him for 2 reasons:
1- he's small, quite the alternative to normal wwe title contenders
2-he's a ROH alumni
I dont believe the Pipebomb was scripted but I do believe it was definitely planned. If it wasn't he would have said TNA in there and his mic would have been cut and he'd be escorted out by security.
But, his skills on the mic are what made the promo so powerful. If it was anybody else, it would not have had the impact it did.
Punk captivated people because of his "Best in the World" attitude.
Face it, Rock wasnt as good of a wrestler as Punk when he had his major runs in the 90s and 2000s. People loved Rock because he is charismatic.
Same reason they love Punk
thats where I suppose opinions and views differ. Punk never intrigued me as a fan. If he came out on tv, I never really cared. He was interesting and a good performer, but thats about it. The Rock on the other hand is on a different level. When the Rock was on tv, it was MUST watch tv. There are no guys like that anymore.
