Amazing! If you dont mind me asking, were these purchased from a dealer, former Randy Johnson collector, etc?

That's absolutely insane. What's the shipping cost on that?

Once you get everything sorted and into your PC, I'd be happy to work something out for any of the D-back ones you don't want. I've still got quite a few holes in the lower end RJ checklist.

Bought from a dealer who handles a lot of bulk star lots apparently. Got a 2,500 ct box from them on eBay & they approached me about buying them out of everything RJ.

Besides the rookie row it's all commons & non-numbered inserts so I shouldn't net even 1 needed card unless a '98 Tek pattern emerges or some oddball 90s card I don't recognize. Bought it just for fun (I think sorting cards is fun). But it will put me over 22,000 dupes and almost 2,000 rookies.

I won a Ebay auction about 10 years ago for about 25,000 cards from 1978 - 89. The seller said if the auction ended above a certain $. Shipping was free. It was a great start to my set building.

So when you wake up, tell us what you got. Any cool or rare cards like '89 Fleer Marlboro variation rookies that the dealer may not have noticed? Any cards you didn't already have?
Break it down for us because all we see is rows of cards.

I picked up a 3200 card lot of Dave Winfield years ago, before shipping went insane. I think at the time I got about 35 cards I needed out of it. Also picked up something like 2000 Matt Williams cards. Made out much better there, but then a couple years later got bored with collecting Matt Williams. I STILL haven't finished sorting the Matt Williams cards. But, wow, 17000 is a beast!

I found 2 cards that I do not have. Keep in mind I already have approaching 4,300 RJ uniques and I bought this lot knowing it was just commons + 500 rookies. Rookies were all Topps, Donruss, Fleer but I did find a single lowly UD RC mixed in with the commons.

1st card is an 09 UD '89 design super short print. 2nd card you all will have to help me with, it was with a stack of asst Mothers cards but doesnt say 'Mothers' on the back like the rest. I dont have it in my early 90s binder and dont see it on the checklist. Any help would be appreciated!

Nice locating 2 new ones , probably hard to do with 4000+ uniques. The one you have ( tpeichel can maybe add ) is a Broder style card , unlicensed . Looks like it came from the 1989 Rookies Series 1 set. Some oddballs like this are more difficult to locate for sure.
