WWE announced the release of Alberto Del Rio due to unprofessional conduct and an altercation with an employee.

I can say I saw his final week in WWE in person. He is a good wrestler but creative got him crashing and burning at wrong times. I don't know how much got shown on RAW on his match against Ambrose, but what I saw live he came off much better than Ambrose did.

Apparently he slapped a WWE.com reporter? He had a good run early on, but was never going to be around long anyway. He stated several times that he didn't want to wrestle much longer.
