Good morning.
Back at Toronto's Sick Kids hospital with my younger son for his (hopefully) final week of treatments. We've been able to bring him home on the weekends and also his non-treatment days this week, so life is a little closer to "normal".

Good morning. Back to the daily grind of class. It wouldn't be so bad if Mondays weren't my busiest days, but oh well. It makes the end of the week that much nicer.

Good morning.
Opened up a pack of Donruss cards, and one card scared the bejesus out of me. Ever hear of a batter's eyes getting wide at a pitch. This must have been a real fat one to Braun! Actually, this blown up scan isn't as scary as the card in hand - where it looks like the eyeballs are out of their sockets.

Every once and a while I'll run into a person (usually from the city) that doesn't have the slightest clue about the geography from their own state. Those are incredibly frustrating experiences.
I know I'm probably more worked up about this than I should be, but it happens all too often.

Can't lie. I, too, have big eyes and can look like this from time to time. I have to throttle these suckers.

Good Morning Gents! Hoping to see the Mariners take another series against the Astros over the next few days. We haven't been able to beat them this year and now is the time where just one win can make a difference. I know we have some Tigers fans in the MT so no offense, but I hope KC wins to keep the gap larger between Seattle and Detroit
Wow! It amazes me how much PSA cards can go for! That isn't even "old" being a 1973 card. Is there a significance to that one or is it the high grade factor? I'm kicking myself for not bidding and winning the Felix/Hamels glove autograph. That went pretty cheap but whoever won it should be a happy camper

I swear he must have thyroid problems or will someday. I pulled this card and thought the same thing, although with yours his eyes are bugged out further from his face:
