How to tell a 91 Topps desert shield pack/ box?

Outside of opening them?

Besides having several boxes (completely assume they are basic topps), I saw a pic of several boxes wrapped in (I think) baseball card exchange cellophane.

How would they know?

If you sniff the box, you get faint hints of camel, crude oil and military-grade perspiration.

Boxes are identical. BCE just put a sticker on boxes they knew to come from Desert Shield cases.
