One of the many reasons I love collecting and reading these "vintage" issues.
THE HYPE:
So many companies hyped up products, some did it every month on everything.
Surprisingly, only Donruss advertised in this issue , unless you consider this by score
And does anyone here remember the buyers clubs?
BEAT THE "HIGH COSTS" OF COLLECTING!!!!!!
And lastly, this time period was LOADED with nearly every type of card set imaginable.
Desert storm cards?
yep!
Russian baseball cards? Yep
Dead deer cards? Of course!
Ladies bowling? Strike!
