Drabek was saying his goodbyes after today's spring training game. Not sure if he was released or traded.

Wasn't Kyle Drabek supposed to be the next coming of (insert great pitcher's name here)? Just another reason to not hang on to prospect cards if you are trying to make money at this hobby.

And that closes the book on the pieces involved in the Roy Halladay trade.

Drabek seemed to completely fall off the Jays' radar after his TJ and the emergence if guys like Stroman, Norris, Hutch, etc.

Drabek was acquired with Travis d'Arnauld and Michael Taylor from Philly. Taylor was flipped to Oakland for Brett Wallace, who was traded to Houston for Anthony Gose, who was traded to Detroit for Devon Travis.

So I guess technically, in a six degrees-of-separation way the Jays might still see the benefits of the Roy Halladay trade.
