Happy Birthday to former Houston Colt 45's and Astros pitcher Claude Raymond. He was nothing special on the mound, with a 46-43 lifetime record. His main claim to fame (for us vintage baseball cards nerds) is that, for some reason, he posed for both his 1966 & 1967 baseball card photos with his fly open.

Claude's two barndoor situations are one of the great mysteries of that time. Right up there with why Topps left Claude's fly open on that 1966 card, but corrected Don Landrum's open fly through airbrushing not once, but twice - creating 3 variations of his '66 card.

Never heard of this stuff, pretty interesting. Do any of these cards go for decent money because of the story?
