Anyone here remember this?

It was a mail in promotion from the 70s into early mid 80s.

I still have one or two from when I was a kid. Up until a few minutes ago, I never knew it was a topps branded product although I do remember my grand mom sending away for it.

This thread gives me flashback nightmares.

I had one of these back in the mid-'80s, when I first started collecting as a kid. It was a very cool container for storing my baseball and football cards.

Unfortunately, the glue that held the plastic shelves to the outside case seeped through the shelves, and most of the cards suffered glue stains on the corners.

Normally, this wouldn't really matter, since most of the cards in there ended up being worthless.

The one that still gives me the aforementioned nightmares is the 1981 Topps Joe Montana rookie card.

When I get a chance, I'll post a pic. I still own the card, and it's in great shape, other aside from the glue-darkened corners.

Damn you, card storage locker!
