Yesterday, I got married to the most amazing, wonderful, lovely, and beautiful woman I could ever hope to be with:
We've been together almost four years, and she's known about my collection since the beginning. She fully supports and accepts everything I do with cards, but she's never been to a show with me (which I completely understand).
Until today! She came with me to the Mansfield show:
And I think she hated every second of it! Except the music posters; those were a cool find for her (she LOVES Phish and the Dead).
Me, on the other hand, creamed myself quite a bit when I dug these up:
Yes indeed, a Collections Prized Bagwell Sample, Fractal Materials Samples Belle and Smoltz, Ultra Platinum McGriff, and a Goudey Greats Gold McGwire. Total cost of acquisition: less than a new postage stamp!
Not a bad couple of days, if I may say so myself!
