Javier Baez suffers broken finger on Sunday
Cubs prospect Javier Baez sustained a fractured left ring finger while sliding into second base on a stolen base attempt in Sunday's game at Triple-A Iowa.
The initial estimation is that he'll miss anywhere between 4-8 weeks. It's certainly a big blow to fantasy owners in redraft leagues who had been waiting for Baez to get his shot with the Cubs. Aside from keeper formats, he can safely be dropped at this point.
