Ok that makes sense now...I was gonna say, to send them Hamels and not get any of their top 4 prospects back is not a good deal for Philly. Getting Thompson makes it a decent haul for Philly.
Very good trade. The phillies in the span have 18 months have gone from one of the worst systems in baseball to an easy top 5-8 and maybe a bit higher.
