Good for him, it looks like he's finally back to his old self.

A guy that was certainly on the trade block just a few weeks ago, probably kept due to the injury risk and not being able to get much in return.

Was a great game to watch at work haha! Well deserved, and hopefully his arm can stay healthy to give him some more good years. Congrats to Kuma Bear!

What really stood out was a he used a high-rising fastball that kept on rising late, until it was chest high. When you're able to do that as a splitter pitcher it's no surprise this result happens. Amazing.

He's so quality. Glad he got one, because he's seemingly had them snatched away in the later innings previously. A bright spot, with Cruz's HR's, in an otherwise bleh season for the M's.

Congrats to him! He has insane ratios...if he had enough IP to qualify, he'd be top 70 all-time in BB/9, 3rd in K/BB, and top 15 in WHIP. Very underrated pitcher.

He's always been in the shadow of King Felix. Glad he got a no-no. With Uehara getting shelved with the fractured wrist and Aoki getting beaned in the head I was getting a little depressed. Time to show off some of my Iwakuma's from the PC.

...and that's coming into the league in his 30s plus with previous arm injuries. Kuma would be a lock HOF if he started here.
