Sure, Action Packed is known for football cards but they did produce several baseball issues.
In 1988, a group of people who worked together for years came up with an idea of embossing cookies because they worked the field.
One of them thought producing cards was a good idea because back in 1988, the card market was blazing.
Thinking they had a baseball card license ready to go, they hired a sales force.
But then the license didn't go through and on the way back to the office to tell the staff the bad news, they happened to sit next to someone NFL properties and pitched the cards to him shortly after, got a license.
