I think they should bring Benintendi back down to the minors so that he can get regular playing time. The 3 days he's been on the major league team he's only been on the starting roster once.

Farrell said he'll be starting against RHP. Farrell's not too bright though: Benintendi hit .326 vs lefties and .289 vs righties this year at Portland, but the sample size is 43 AB vs LHP and 194 AB vs RHP.

I think they're trying to ease him into the LF job full-time, but I say give the kid a shot vs lefties. Brentz is okay, but not exactly lighting the world on fire for us. Brentz is hitting .275 this year vs LHP.

Ah yes, the 'ol "no lefties can hit lefties" theory of management. Ignore the splits and just go with it. Gotta love it.
