Can anyone ID this autograph for certain, assuming it is real. At first, I thought it might be a rushed Deion Sanders, but he almost always seems to make his S into a dollar sign. It could be a fake Sanders or maybe it is a real signature of someone else? It came with a large lot of mostly baseball.

Anything is possible and I am not saying you are wrong, but I just looked at images of Quayle autographs. It's possibly a very extremely hurried Quayle, but otherwise didn't really look close to his typical signature. The card is a Pro Set White House card after all, so the political connection would make sense.

I would think since it's on a political card like that, then it's more than likely a politician.

Here are some Ebay examples of him. Looks close to one of his rushed/older signatures. Or, a rushed Dansby Swanson? ;)

I'd say you get a pass for being a resident of another country, but there are probably plenty of Americans who don't know who he is either. He was Vice President of the US under George H W Bush.

And Dan Quayle is...?

I think you meant George's W dad.

You are correct. I was just watching Harold and Kumar Guantanamo last night and had W on the brain!

I think you meant George's W dad.

Fixed it.

That said, no sports guesses on two message boards after a day. I may have a Quayle here.

I'm fairly certain he was asking because he didn't know. I couldn't name the current Mexican President, let alone the VP (If they have that position) or any former ones for that matter. I am not very World current event oriented.

I know who he is thanks.
