Was there really an outcry for Chrome versions of 1987 Topps? (scratching head)

And Blue Waves? Don't get me started. They looked cool when they debuted five years ago, but they've worn out their welcome. The secondary market doesn't embrace them, and they need to go away.

Don't we already have chrome versions of 87 topps in the main set release?
