I said after this happened that whatever was out to get those people in the Final Destination films definitely had its sight set on Piscotty that night.

The only comparable thing to this I can remember is when the Cardinals were facing the Padres years ago and Albert Pujols took out the battery in one trip around the bases. He hit a line drive that bounced off the pitchers face, forcing him out of the game. Then there was a play at the plate and he steam rolled the catcher, injuring him, and ending his day as well. I'd never seen anything like it. One player taking the pitcher and catcher out of the game in one trip around the bases.

I didn't see it on tv but our local Classic Rock & Roll DJ played it on the radio, with circus music playing in the background.
