If there is another day on the calendar with more, I would be surprised. Who knew April 2 was such a big day in baseball history.

Also, on this date in 1992, the Astros traded Curt Schilling to the Phillies for Jason Grimsley. Schilling would go on to play nine years in Philly while Grimsley would never throw a pitch in an Astros uniform.
Keeping Schilling would have given the Astros one of the best rotations in all of baseball for much of the 90s.
