Seriously, the lineup is loaded. Josh Lindbolm shut them down today for the most part, and Aaron Poreda was off his game so the end result wasn't pretty. The barons have

John Shelby

Gordon Beckham

Tyler Flowers

Dayan Viciedo

That lineup is bound to put up big numbers.

I just got back from the park. Sorry for the bad scan on the OMLB's The top two are Dayan, the bottom two are Gordon Beckham.

we were spoiled in huntsville last year. The turnouts are way low for opening weekend. Nobody wants to watch these guys after what we have had in recent years.

Brandon Allen does not impress me at all.

The big power guys on that team are Flowers and Viciedo.

Although, Viciedo needs to learn how to handle off speed stuff better. He got caught lunging almost every at bat last night.

What do you not like about him? High strikeout rate?

Lack of hustle mainly.

I don't really have a problem with guys who strike out a lot as long as they don't get cheated at the plate.

He is also not even a passable defensive first baseman, he might be one of those DH only guys.
