Great 4 game performance all around by the White Sox against the defending AL Champion Tampa Bay Rays. If anyone hasn't been watching the scoreboards/statistics, the Sox have played very well. As long as they do not completely fall apart and give up their current 9-0 lead, they will have won 3/4 IN Tampa, ON turf...a feat that they have never seemed able to do before.
My favorite play of this series was when Lillibridge tagged up and scored on a popup barely out of the infield yesterday. I think he was a great pickup in the Vazquez trade!
Pierzynski is hitting .306 right now, Konerko is hitting .349, and Dye is tearing it up at .370.
A great pitching performance today by Gavin Floyd especially.
Oh and by the way, the Blackhawks and Bulls aren't doing too bad also
