Damn, I don't think I even want to pay for this card now. What would ebay do if I reported it?

Edit: I guess ebay didn't like the shill bidder thing. This morning the seller had 143 auctions with a bunch of them with bids from the shill account, and now he only has 95 auctions going and only 1 with the shill bid account. Hmmmmmmm, I guess a call to ebay can pay off at times. AND, he already left me positive feedback.

Re: Dang, I've been had.

Yeah that sucks Art.
BUt if you need and want the card, it's less then $5. Just suck it up buy it, AND report it.
Ebay won't do anything about it, but it'll ease your mind.

Re: Dang, I've been had.

I probably will Russ, but I know I'll end up putting a NEG on him, with "SHILL BIDDER" for fb. After 9 years on ebay, that's a 1st for me. Looks like I'll have to start checking every other bidder on the auctions that I bid on. Greedy little bastards piss me off.

Buy it and drop a neg "Nice card but seller shills his auctions"

That is what I would do.That many bids with 1 seller and hasn't won a thing?Has to be shilling.Pretty obvious shilling to boot.Sweet card though Art.

You can't drop a Neg for that.

Why not?

Art

Because you are "suspecting" him of schilling, even if it looks obvious , you cannot say 100% that it is. You can report him to ebay and say, you think this item was schilled, that's fine. But, if you receive the card and the transaction goes smooth, I don't think a Negative feedback is just.

You can drop a negative if you don't like the seller's userid.

However, if the original poster is not correct, he's responsible for the damages of his words.

And since this is eBay, the damages are de mimimus.

So what would you consider "just" feedback for some one that is basicly stealing/frauding money from people?

Re: Dang, I've been had.

a few years ago no one got away with this, and now ebay's security with IP checking and stuff is stronger than ever, how are people getting away with it? about 3 years ago i won an auction from a seller who also won an auction from me on almost the same date, and ebay sent us both warnings claiming collusion or some crap. now this guy bids on 99% of one guys stuff and they dont see that? and on a 2.00 card?? too many people are wasting valuable oxygen, im gasping for air
