Old boardwalk game had a Milwaukee Braves pennant. It was funny b/c the games were rigged and the prizes had been there for ever.

On our local news a couple weeks back they said a Milw. native is one of their writers now, his 1st show was the Irish pub episode a couple weeks ago..(had a good reference to the Yankees being irrelevant nowadays)

Milwaukee, WI
W00T!

I love obscure Milwaukee references in Movies and Entertainment.

There's been a ton actually:

Happy Days
Laverne and Shirley

C. Thomas Howells' character's birthplace in the movie Side Out. During the movie they kept calling him "Milwaukee". Quite possibly the worst movie of all time.

Word has it among Hollywood superstitious types that to say "Milwaukee" in a movie is good luck. I think Zach Braff makes mention of it on the comentary for "Garden State."

I just got back from Milwaukee.

Went to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers v. Peoria Chiefs game at Miller Park on Friday. Good times.

And you didn't go to a Snappers game? God damn traitor!
