Going good, thanks. Glad you voted for Davis.

Thank you, I voted for price because I could only think of 1 LHP for the rays, Kazmir (however I am not familiar with their bull pen). Another lefty in the rotation could be what the Rays need to be in contention for the top spot.Mudcatsfan said:darocker80 said:Does TB need a lefty or righty
This was the best question asked and nobody seems to care.
Pitchers B/T Ht Wt DOB
50 Grant Balfour R/R 6-2 195 12/30/77
31 Lance Cormier R/R 6-1 200 08/19/80
22 Matt Garza R/R 6-4 215 11/26/83
39 J.P. Howell L/L 6-0 180 04/25/83
19 Scott Kazmir L/L 6-0 190 01/24/84
46 Joe Nelson R/R 6-1 205 10/25/74
34 Jeff Niemann R/R 6-9 260 02/28/83
40 Troy Percival R/R 6-3 255 08/09/69
33 James Shields R/R 6-4 220 12/20/81
52 Brian Shouse L/L 5-10 190 09/26/68
21 Andy Sonnanstine L/R 6-3 190 03/18/83
35 Dan Wheeler R/R 6-3 220 12/10/77
so, they have in their rotation
L Kaz
R Garza
R Shields
R Sonny
R Niemann
and then in the pen
L Howell (long)
R Balfour (long)
R Cormier (long)
L Shouse (short)
R Wheeler (setup)
R Nelson (setup)
R Percy (closer)
So if they're sending down a starter you don't NEED a lefty or righty, but if you're sending down a bullpen arm it becomes more important.
You can't send down shouse and NOT bring up price.
You could send down a cormier and bring up either.
