Personally I think this will be a career year for Haren. He currently leads the NL (with players with 5 starts) in: IP, ERA, K/9, K/BB, BB/9, and is second in Ks and ERA+. He also has 5 quality starts, and until tonight has had lousy run support. Sure it's only five starts, but there is absolutely no discussion about him. Talk about being underrated, even when you take the top spot from one of the best in baseball.

Should be a nice CY Young race him vs. Johan
I like Haren more, especially since he is in a weaker division.

No denying Haren is a beast, but Johan is dominating too with a .70 ERA. He is the only thing keeping the Mets together and in the tougher division which would help him and hurt Haren I would think (although Lincecum won it last year)

Johan can keep it up all year, I think Haren can too so it will be an interesting race I would think.
